In the spring of 1997, Wilson, NC native Steven Stewart graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A.
in Communications focusing on video and film production. Since then, he has been in involved in
many different artistic ventures, from music to event videography to independent film. He has
worked as a DJ and performed with area bands such as Southern Groove Society, Big Money Grip,
and TripleWide. His short films have been exhibited at film festivals the world over and his video
projects for the web have been viewed thousands upon thousands of times.

In early 2004, Stewart began working with veteran videographer Becky Long, who ran an
extremely successful video business in Wilson, NC for over twenty years. When Long retired
from the video business, Stewart set out on his own and Steven Stewart Video was born. Stewart
believes that his experience and education in the realm of videography and filmmaking
combined with his knowledge of music, graphic design, photography, and audio production give
him a unique edge in creating a video that will surpass the needs of his clients whether they are
looking for a wedding video or a commercial advertising their new business.

Stewart works full time at the Hackney Library at Barton College and currently resides in Wilson,
NC with his wife Victoria, their daughter Beatrix, and their pug Bear.
